Questions You Should Answer Before Buying Lawn Customers

We received an email about purchasing 25 lawn customers.

The price is listed at $9000.

We cannot give you legal or business advice. In the
end you will have to do your due diligence in making
the final decision.

What we can do is tell you about what we have heard
and seen others do.

Most will calculate their return on that $9000 investment.

Answer these questions for yourself:

Are the 25 lawns under contract? Are you certain?

How much would you make from all 25 lawns?

How long would all 25 take to mow?

How much would it cost you to mow these lawns? (ie fuel, drive time etc.)

In the end, is what's left (your profit) worth it to you?


If you can answer these questions it will help you make
the final decision.

So if you make $40 per cut for those 25 lawns that amounts
to $1000 per week or $2000 per month (2 cuts a month).

If you spread paying back the $9000 over a year, you would
have to pay $750 per month.

$2000 minus $750 equals $1250.

$1250 divided by 25 hours to mow these 25 lawns and you
are making $50.00 per hour (30 mins to mow each lawn 2x a month).

The above numbers are purely an example, but you can
clearly see how the overall decision of whether or not to
purchase these customers is becoming easier.

(Yes, I did not subtract expenses incurred by mowing these lawns)
